Subject: Comments on Wipeout and I Survived a Japanese Game Show

Wipeout is a blatant rip-off of Spike’s MXE show, but with far less
interesting commentary virtually devoid of humor. That said, it was
still somewhat entertaining to watch, at least while there is not much
competition available at the moment. The challenges were pretty good
for the most part, but I would have preferred that they make
contestant’s repeat obstacles until they succeed rather than just skip
on past them.
ISAJGS was not as good as Wipeout but still okay as a Survivor
wannabe. The challenges were a bit lame and boring and the whole
things was drawn out. The concept was good and the surprise aspect
was an excellent twist. Hopefully they will do what Survivor has not
yet done, which is switch up the teams for every challenge. The
elimination player selection was done well, without apparent alliance-
forming or strategizing. Also good enough to watch, with at least one
pretty girl, at least until BB starts up again in July.
