This is all the information you need to know. Quebec has considerably
different standards than the rest of Canada (Heck, Reni asked Celine
Dion's parents if he could date their then 15-yr old daughter while he
was 40+). Their justice system isn't based on same rules as the rest
of Canada but rather the old French feudal system that has been handed
down from the 1500's. In similar news today, the Senate passed a bill
outlawing "spanking" of children (thankfully, it hasn't passed in the
House of Commons OR signed into law). The Liberals also wouldn't back
a bill that raised the age of consent from 14 to 16, luckily the
majority rules and it WAS passed.

This western based Canuck is shaking his head at the liberal/socialist
dominated eastern provinces...
