What was odd (and funny), was the kids making faux boilermakers: They
would dump a shot glass of one flavor of soda into a mug of a different
flavor of soda and then chug-a-lug the whole thing. Obviously they've
been watching their older siblings and parents very carefully. :-)
That was what was funny about it: The kids felt like they were supposed
to act "grown up" in managing this town. So they tried to throw a wild
party, with girls dancing on tables and chugging faux boilermakers. It
was creepy, like a kid's idea of a singles' bar on Saturday night.
