Yes, as a blanket statement that would be wrong. But I made that comment in
the course of a discussion where I stated from the start that laws varied by
state so I didn't expect that statement or my example of the kid possessing
a beer at a fair to be considered as blanket statements. In fact, it was
your blanket statement ("Your parents may supply you with alcohol.
Period.") that I was responding to.
